Anahid Mosala, LCSW (she/her/hers) is a therapist and advocate focused on creating safe spaces for survivors of sexual and gender based violence. She is passionate about educating both clients and clinicians on the importance of healthy boundaries, supportive relationships and self care. Anahid’s passion for trauma informed care began during her undergraduate years at UCLA where she was involved with Bruin Consent Coalition – a student organization focused on highlighting issues of sexual and gender based violence and providing consent education to the student body. After graduating from USC with her MSW, Anahid worked with homeless and recently housed adults in Los Angeles utilizing the Housing First model. In this context she had the opportunity to provide direct field based client services as well as supervision to emerging therapists and case managers in her program manager role. Today Anahid is meeting clients in her private practice while pursuing her certifications as a sex therapist and Trauma Informed Yoga facilitator.
