BIKO KO (they/she/he), was born in Taiwan and raised in Shanghai and California. Their international background has motivated them to do diversity and inclusion work on their high school and college campuses with multiple organizations for the past five years. They are currently a feminist studies graduating senior at University of California, Santa Barbara and have extensively focused on the topics of queer studies, intersectional feminism, and community organizing in their studies. Their career goal is to become a social worker dedicated to helping LGBTQIA+ youth heal by redefining family, deconstructing binaries in school curriculums, and holding space for essential conversations that do not yet take place in the classroom.
