JESSICA BORJA, MSW (she/her) is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California’s Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work. She is passionate about social justice issues and has dedicated her career to studying and uncovering social disparities. Her work has focused on discrimination faced by women in male-dominated occupations, physical and mental health issues in minority populations, and race-based discrimination in various settings.

Jessica’s current work involves studying the conditions of the child protective system in El Salvador and helping with policy recommendations for high-level decision makers to make improvements to that system. She also has experience in grant development, program analysis, advocacy efforts, and individual and group counseling.

She has previously worked at the University of Chicago, UC San Francisco, and the Thelton E. Henderson Center for Social Justice at UC Berkeley’s School of Law. She is a graduate of UC Berkeley and the University of Chicago.
