Lizeth Toscano

LIZETH TOSCANO is a native to Salinas, California. She embarked on a journey to become a social worker in 2006. She received her BSW at San Diego State University in 2010. Lizeth’s passion for ending the cycle of violence in families and communities lead her to pursue her Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Southern California. Over the course of her career, she has worked in early mental health and prenatal mental health. Lizeth has provided individualized therapy based on the cultural, socio-politcal, and diverse needs of individuals, families and children. In addition, Lizeth has been a lead trainer at Echo Parenting and Education where she facilitated and developed professional trainings in Trauma Informed Nonviolent practices. She lead and facilitated workshops and classes for parents including domestic violence shelters. Currently, Lizeth is a social worker in hiatus. She is staying home practicing nonviolent parenting with her adorable son Emiliano. She is embracing the beautiful journey of motherhood.
