Stephanie Lezama, MSW Practicum Intern (she/her/ella), is a dedicated student currently enrolled in the Master of Social Work program at California State University, Long Beach. Stephanie’s journey in the field of social work began with her undergraduate studies at California State University Fullerton, where she earned her degree in Human Services. As a first-generation Latina, Stephanie is deeply committed to advocating for her community and making a positive impact on the lives of those around her. Her passion and dedication shine through in her work, particularly in the area of basic needs research for college students. Stephanie recognizes the critical importance of equity and social justice in today’s society, values that are at the core of her professional mission.
Stephanie’s strong passion extends to several areas, including mental health, immigrant communities, and trauma-informed care.
