
DÁMON L. COOKË, is currently the CEO and Co-founder of The Uncuffed Project. A non-profit that specializes in the formerly incarcerated, which has coined the phrase “Returned Citizens”· and the marginalized and disenfranchised.
Dámon’s expertise is in the field of Intergenerational Trauma and Prison Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). He spent over 31 Years in the California Prison System and developed a unique skill set in approaching those who have found themselves in this space.
Dámon is a Certified Domestic Violence counselor and a Drug and Alcohol Specialist with over twenty-thousand hours of practical application.
Dámon’s impact on this community has been not only tangible, but imperacal. He has served over one thousand men and women who have consistently commented on his kindness and thoughtfulness. The ability to bridge those less fortunate and those with means is the gift of Dámon.
Dámon continued his thirst for healing, by becoming an award winning podcast Producer who was a founding member of the KALW podcast Uncuffed.
