Trauma Informed LA’s National Day of Racial Healing Event
January 18 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Trauma Informed LA is hosting its first National Day of Racial Healing (NDORH) event in partnership with Strength Based Community Change (SBCC). NDORH is a day to gather together as a community and share values and ideas that promote healing and transformation from the effects of racial discrimination in our communities. Racial healing is a critical component at the core of racial equity, and it is important that as a community, we can hold space where individuals can share their stories and experiences to develop self-agency and heal the damage caused by racism. Join us for a dialogue that will create trust, belonging, foster community power, and explore the different systems that have historically affected BIPOC through racial inequity.
TILA Table is a “roundtable” format that will empower and provide a brave space for attendees and guests. There will be a conversation about the individual and structural systems of oppression, the lived experiences of those communities that have experienced racial discrimination and injustices, and the different ways we can heal collectively and collectively as a community. Through community building, bringing awareness, empathy and shared understanding we can help restore wholeness to individuals and society.
