One of my favorite prayers says, “Healer of every ill, light of each tomorrow, give us peace beyond our fear and hope beyond our sorrow.” The mandate is to heal and then tell our stories so that others will heal.

Trauma should be the worst part, the healing should not be any worse. We need to really think about what healing is, and where are we replicating patterns of abuse in our healing systems. Explore how we restore self-agency throughout our healing journey.
