Danielle Brown, LCSW

Danielle Brown, LCSW, BC-DMT, is a licensed clinical social worker, certified EMDR therapist, EMDRIA Approved Consultant, and board certified dance/movement therapist. Her professional and personal development as a dancer, clinician, and university professor culminate in a trauma-informed approach to her work, which emphasizes the collaboration between client and therapist, and the integration of mind and body.

Danielle works with a range of presenting concerns including: trauma, grief and loss, life-transitions, stress, anxiety and mood disorders, creative blocks, body image, and chronic pain. Danielle offers sliding scale rates to emerging artists and psychotherapists.

Maya DeNola, LCSW

Maya DeNola, LCSW  is a lifelong social-change advocate, who was raised on an intentional community in Northern Israel. She has lived on three continents and multiple cities and considers herself a world citizen. Her own experiences of trauma, loss and recover, have informed her career path and therapeutic orientation. Maya views trauma and recovery as an empowering individual process, one experienced and accomplished through multi-faceted holistic practices.

Maya is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and currently serves as the Clinical Director at ManifestWorks, a workforce development program. She provides Field Instruction at Pathways, a Grief and Bereavement organization, and has a small private practice providing individual therapeutic and coaching services, at sliding scale rates to other helping professionals.

Kellee Kemp, LMFT

Kellee Kemp is a Los Angeles native, dedicated to empowering communities of color. She is a double alum of Loyola Marymount University where she obtained her BA in Urban Studies and MA in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Art Therapy, where she currently serves as a clinical supervisor.

As a first-generation American, she has always felt it was her duty to support the work being done by communities of color. Kellee is dedicated to social justice and passionate about empowering marginalized communities from within. This desire has taken her internationally to support various humanitarian projects in Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Belize, and India. Locally, she has worked closely with organizations addressing literacy, poverty, and mental health disparities in Watts, Compton, Boyle Heights, South Los Angeles, and Long Beach.

In recent years, she served as Executive Director of the Yetunde Price Resource Center in Compton as well as the Chief Program Officer for the Driving Force Group, a nonprofit organization which offers infrastructure and operations support for projects reflecting race equity and social impact. Currently, Kellee has a thriving private-practice focused on providing services to Black and Latinx individuals and families.

Ebony Williams, LMFT

Ebony Williams, LMFT (She/Her) is a Black, queer, first generation woman who is also a licensed marriage and family therapist, social emotional healing arts instructor, and a trauma-informed yoga teacher. She created the Ragdoll Project while earning an MFA in Writing at the California Institute of the Arts and has facilitated workshops on both the East and West coasts for trauma survivors and individuals navigating life challenges that range from sexual and domestic violence, grief and loss, LGBTQIA identity, and living in communities challenged by violence.

Ebony also earned an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in African American Family Studies. Ebony’s current work includes having a small therapy private practice and teaches in the cultural psychology LGBTQIA specialization at Pacific Oaks College and the Social Emotional Arts Certificate Program through UCLArts and Healing Initiative. Ebony is also the founder of Root Wellness Healing, a leadership and organizational wellness consulting practice bringing together best practices in mental health, DEI, holistic wellness, and trauma-resilience.

Paulina Padilla, LCSW

Paulina (she/her) is a first-generation American, bilingual in Spanish, with family roots from Mexico and raised in Southern California. Paulina earned her Bachelor’s degree from Whittier College and Master’s in Social Work from Cal State Long Beach. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been proudly serving the Latinx community for the past 20 years. For the first part of her career she worked various roles in community mental health serving children and families which helped her understand the layers of healing that are needed in the Latinx community. 

In the past 6 years, Paulina has pivoted her work to opening a private practice in Whittier and focuses her work on supporting women and mothers as well as specializing in trauma. Paulina has specialities in maternal mental health, nonviolent parenting and somatic psychotherapy. She uses somatic work to uncover the resilience and healing that is found in the body. Paulina honors the importance of integrating the mind and body when working through emotional pain. She loves working with mothers and guiding them to access empathy and compassion for themselves and their children. Paulina is excited to start offering parent and post-partum groups in Fall of 2022.
