Danielle Brown, LCSW
Danielle Brown, LCSW, BC-DMT, is a licensed clinical social worker, certified EMDR therapist, EMDRIA Approved Consultant, and board certified dance/movement therapist. Her professional and personal development as a dancer, clinician, and university professor culminate in a trauma-informed approach to her work, which emphasizes the collaboration between client and therapist, and the integration of mind and body.
Danielle works with a range of presenting concerns including: trauma, grief and loss, life-transitions, stress, anxiety and mood disorders, creative blocks, body image, and chronic pain.
Maya DeNola, LCSW
Maya DeNola, LCSW is a lifelong social-change advocate, who was raised on an intentional community in Northern Israel. She has lived on three continents and multiple cities and considers herself a world citizen. Her own experiences of trauma, loss and recover, have informed her career path and therapeutic orientation. Maya views trauma and recovery as an empowering individual process, one experienced and accomplished through multi-faceted holistic practices.
Maya is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and currently serves as the Clinical Director at ManifestWorks, a workforce development program. She provides Field Instruction at Pathways, a Grief and Bereavement organization, and has a small private practice providing individual therapeutic and coaching services, at sliding scale rates to other helping professionals.
Patrice Douglas, PsyD, LMFT
Patrice N. Douglas PsyD, LMFT, is a Doctor of Psychology and Licensed Psychotherapist based in Southern California and licensed in multiple states. She specializes in many subsets of psychology, including anxiety, addiction, relationship health, and multicultural issues. She is the CEO of Empire Counseling & Consultation located in multiple states virtually where she specializes in Black Men’s issues and more.
Her world view and understanding of Black and brown issues has stationed Patrice as a leading expert whose words and work is referenced by such publications as Forbes, Cosmopolitan, VICE, Oprah Magazine, HelloGiggles, and many others. She was featured in Cosmopolitan as one of the Black Relationship Experts to follow on Instagram.
Lisa Gallegos, LCSW
Lisa Gallegos, LCSW works with adults, adolescents, and children, specializing in working with people who have experienced traumas (emotional, physical, sexual abuse, grief, loss); couples locked in conflict; parents in conflict with their children; people experiencing life transitions; people with addiction; and around issues related to race, class, gender, and sexual orientation.
Kellee Kemp, LMFT
Kellee is a first-generation American, born and raised in Ladera Heights. Both of her parents have Central American roots encompassing Belizean, Guatemalan and Mexican ancestry. She comes from a tight-knit family and is the oldest of 3 children. Kellee is a double alum of Loyola Marymount University where she obtained her BA in Urban Studies and MA in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Art Therapy.
She has worked mainly in Student Affairs and community mental health working alongside, Black college freshmen, LGBTQIA+ students, veterans, pregnant and parenting teens and residents in housing development projects all over Los Angeles County. She is currently the Chief Programs Officer for Driving Force Group. DFG works with clients and partners who focus on social justice, race equity and making a deep community impact. Kellee also serves as the Director for Yetunde Price Resource Center, providing free, high-quality healing-centered and trauma-informed programming to the community.
