Dr. Ilana Kwartin is a global inspirational speaker, feminist activist, legislative advisor, lawyer, author, and entrepreneur who changes the world through innovation and social change. Her specialization in women’s rights has shaped legislation passed by the Israeli Parliament and featured in rulings by Israel’s Supreme Court.
Ilana lectures on the convergence of law and gender, women’s rights in Israel, Coercive Control in marriage, and on activism as a tool for social change. She is the Founder of “Levana”, an Israeli FemTech start-up that tailors medication to women’s hormonal cycles. She is the author of the book “Imprisoned”, that explores the stories of women suffering from Coercive Control in relationships, inspires activist initiatives across the country, and serves as the basis for legislation.
With over two decades’ experience fundraising, a history of non-profit leadership, the creation and implementation of a multitude of social initiatives, and her legal and legislative work, Ilana brings a uniquely energetic and out-of-the-box approach to uncovering great ideas and helping them flourish.
